Brain Injury information, education and support

Celebrating 25 years

The year 2012 marked the 25th Anniversary of the Ontario Brain Injury Association making a difference in the lives of those living with the effects of an acquired brain injury.

For the past 25 years, OBIA has been an instrumental force and resource for those who have decided that a brain injury will be but one characteristic of how they live their lives. For many, OBIA has provided support and advocacy in such a way that it is a “guiding light” and had helped navigate the journey of rebuilding a life after brain injury.

As one caregiver explains, it is not only about surviving a brain injury ~ it is about thriving with brain injury!
