Online Concussion Support Group

This group was created to address a gap in the community services across the province to provide support for those who have sustained a concussion. This group consists of 8 sessions held weekly for a duration of 60 minutes.

The group will be facilitated by a member of the OBIA staff with experience delivering support groups, both online and in person. The focus of this group is YOU and your emotional well-being. The aim is to provide you with a safe space to connect with others with a similar experience and to provide resources to help with your emotional recovery from this injury.

The group is made up of a small number of people to allow for more discussion and interaction. You can participate in the group using a webcam, audio (teleconference) and/or text (typing). Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us and so we are using an online tool/platform that will maintain the confidentiality of the group.
