OBIA always appreciates all those who are interested in giving there time to volunteer at our office, conferences or training programs. Below is a list of the various volunteer opportunities that may be available at OBIA, however at this time all positions are currently filled. Please check back for updates and we thank you for your interest.

Volunteer Opportunities

Peer Support Program

  1. Peer Support Program – contact Mentors and Partners across the province to assist with gathering evaluation data of participants who prefer to complete the evaluation over the telephone.
  2. Assist with program material preparation

Support Services and Research

  1. Enter data from provincial questionnaires into research questionnaire database
  2. File questionnaires accordingly
  3. Compiling statistical data related to ABI, disability or other issues as needed


  1. Enter training program evaluations data; assist with analyzing and summarizing data for report
  2. Re-enter training materials for revisions/re-branding etc.
  3. Assist with Training Program preparation ( of binders etc.) – this happens only once in prep for each program


  1. Assist with data entry re: membership information/conference evaluations and contact information; keeping OBIA’s electronic records current and secure
  2. Assist with special events – organizing materials for conferences etc.
