Brain Injury SpeaksBrain Injury Speaks is a growing community of more than 500 people impacted by brain injury. Simply put, Brain Injury Speaks is about providing persons directly impacted by brain injury with a “seat at the table” and viewing brain injury care in Ontario through the eyes of individuals who are living with it.

Why join the Brain Injury Stakeholder Engagement Network?

As a member, you will become a part of an exciting and growing community to improve the care and support of those living with brain injury. With already 500+ members, we are hoping to double this in the next year. The more members we have, the stronger our voice will be.

  • You will be able to share your experiences with brain injury.
  • Connect and engage with others living with brain injury, family members and caregivers.
  • Identify gaps in care in the community and the healthcare system.

Voices of Brain Injury:
A Photovoice Collective

We are pleased to present an opportunity for network members to share their stories with our upcoming newsletter segment, “Voices of Brain Injury”. “Voices of Brain Injury” will be featured monthly in The Voice: Brain Injury Speaks Newsletter, aiming to spotlight selected members’ experiences.

Entering a submission will give you the opportunity to have your story selected for upcoming newsletters. Submissions will require you to share a photo that you feel best depicts your experience with brain injury, along with an explanation of why that image is meaningful to your story. Photos can be of yourself, but do not have to be, and should provide an illustration of your experience. Choice of the photo is left to your discretion but must be appropriate for general audiences. You will have the option to change your name for privacy purposes, if your story is selected.

This is an opportunity to share your experience with brain injury, and ultimately strengthen the voice of this community. If you would like to share your story, please click the button below.

We are grateful for your participation and are looking forward to sharing and listening to your stories!
