Brain Injury Speaks conducted several projects in 2021 and 2022 to explore the impacts of acquired brain injury (ABI) on people in Ontario. The published reports include the following:

These projects were conducted by Brain Injury Speaks along with various collaborators, and the studies were completed with volunteer participants from the Brain Injury Speaks Network. Multiple themes emerged throughout these projects. In this report, we outlined the consistent themes related to gaps and barriers within brain injury health care in Ontario and provided recommendations about how these issues can be addressed to improve recovery outcomes and quality of life for those impacted by ABI in Ontario.
