This annual industry conference of Schedule 2 Employers from across Ontario is happening on September 24-25, 2025. It focuses on new advancements in the fields of workers’ compensation, disability management, employee wellness, and workplace health and safety.

Presentation Title: To Go Far Go Together: Supporting Employees Living with Concussions/Brain Injuries
This session explores the experience of employees living with concussions/brain injuries in the workplace. With over 1.5 million Canadians living with the effects of concussion/brain injury, it’s likely that someone in your workplace has been directly impacted. Participants will gain insight into the symptoms that often accompany concussions/brain injuries, including mental health challenges as highlighted by current research and industry findings. The session will explore common barriers to returning and remaining at work, and offer evidence-based strategies to support employees living with concussions/brain injuries. Participants will leave with actionable tools to foster a more inclusive and compassionate workplace. This session is ideal for anyone looking to support the mental health and wellbeing of employees living with concussions/brain injuries and build an environment where all individuals can thrive at work.
