Founded in 2013, Eden Dales Social Work (EDSW) is a specialized, community-based social work practice dedicated to supporting individuals and families navigating trauma and recovery. Our team of highly skilled, seasoned, registered social workers and psychotherapists provides comprehensive assessments, expert counseling, and advocacy to clients following motor vehicle collisions, catastrophic injuries and life-altering events, concussions, acquired brain injuries (ABI), and spinal cord injuries.

We deliver evidence-based therapy and practical advocacy services, complete referrals, and professional problem-solving services for clients, to support them in their overall recovery from trauma. support trauma recovery.

✅ Clinical Assessments & Reports – In-depth bio-psycho-social assessments are conducted, medical reports are reviewed, collateral sources are interviewed and comprehensive reports are prepared for legal, medical, and insurance purposes.
✅ Specialized Trauma Therapy – Trauma informed therapies including: Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (T-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
✅ Psycho-Education & Rehabilitation Support – Guidance for individuals and families on concussion management, brain injury adjustment, counseling for grief and loss, trauma recovery, and mental health stabilization.
✅ Practical Recovery Support & Systems Navigation (professional problem solving)– Assistance with financial stress, academic and vocational challenges, access to government benefits (ODSP, CPP, EI, WSIB), and immigration advocacy for caregiving support.
✅ Family & Couples Counseling – Supporting relationships and family dynamics impacted by trauma.
✅ Client-Centered, Strengths-Based Approach – Every client’s journey is unique. We take the time to carefully assess, plan, and implement customized strategies that empower recovery and promote resilience.
