Get ready for a night of non-stop laughs in support of the brain injury community!
The Ontario Brain Injury Association (OBIA) is proud to collaborate with the Brain Injury Association of Sudbury & District (BIASD) and Laughter Heals for a special stand-up comedy night on June 10th in Sudbury, featuring:

Opener: Casey Corbin
Casey Corbin is a stand-up comedian with a career spanning television, festivals, and international audiences. He has appeared on CBC, CTV, SiriusXM, and Comedy Network specials, and was featured in a Just For Laughs produced Humour Resources alongside Jon Dore, Nikki Glaser, and the Lucas Brothers. Pre-pandemic, Casey enjoyed a standout run performing sold-out shows across Canada, including the National Arts Centre, Just For Laughs Toronto (JFL42), and touring with comedy legends such as Norm MacDonald, Gerry Dee, and Ron James. In 2021, he had a breakthrough year on Spotify with four comedy albums reaching listeners in 88 countries. He is also the co-host of the weekly wrestling/comedy podcast Talk’N Wrestling. Known for his smart, original material, Casey delivers surprising punchlines drawn from everyday topics.

Headliner: Jeff McEnery
Jeff McEnery quickly established himself as one of the fastest rising stars in comedy when he won the prestigious “Tim Sims Encouragement Award” and followed that up by winning “Yuk Yuk’s $25,000 Great Canadian Laugh Off” and “Best Stand Up Newcomer” at the Canadian Comedy Awards. Since then, Jeff has made multiple appearances at every major Canadian comedy festival including the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, Winnipeg Comedy Festival and Halifax Comedy Festival. He was nominated for “Best Male Stand Up” at the Canadian Comedy Awards and released his comedy CD “Sunset Acres.”
As an actor, Jeff has a reoccurring role as Alexander on the hit show Letterkenny. He also had a lead role in the movie Dog Pound and was a cast member on the Comedy Network’s sketch show Hotbox. Jeff has made guest appearances on Murdoch Mysteries, Covert Affairs, The Jon Dore Television Show and Naturally, Sadie.
As a writer, McEnery is a graduate of the Vancouver Film School’s Writing for Film and Television Program and was a story consultant on the CBC’s Still Standing.

MC: Bob LaBrecque
Bob has performed stand up comedy for nearly 40 years…..received no awards…..has never performed at any prestigious festival, has never been on TV (was briefly featured on the jumbotron at A Blue jays game).
This fun-filled evening will bring people together for great comedy, good food, and an even greater cause! Our goal is to raise funds to support individuals living with brain injury and their families.
We are grateful to Trevi Bar & Grill in Sudbury for generously hosting this event and helping make the night possible.
Join us for laughter that truly makes a difference!
